Originally from the East Coast of the United States, I have been living in Japan for over 18 years. I initially moved to Japan to take on a specialized role in the financial industry, leveraging my expertise in specific areas. Since then, I have continued to work in the financial sector while also building and managing two additional businesses.
My move to Japan wasn’t something meticulously planned—it was more of an unexpected opportunity. I was seeking a new challenge and a break from my routine in the U.S. The transition proved to be a test of resilience, and I’m grateful to have navigated it, with a few clumsy steps along the way.
Looking ahead, I plan to remain in Japan for the foreseeable future. While I retain my U.S. citizenship, I’ve held permanent residency in Japan since 2010.
For privacy reasons, I prefer to keep specific details about my personal life, family, and business endeavors confidential. My online presence is simply a creative outlet to share insights and interests on my own terms.
