Come on along on this deep city drive only to be betrayed by your trusty (or untrustworthy) navigation system. I ride from Otemachi over to Hiro in Minato-ku to visit one of my favorite shopping markets. It’s mostly intended for expats in Japan with imported products with an import price tag. Definitely my go-to shopping location when I need to pick up hard to find items that aren’t easily found in typical Japanese grocery stores.

NATIONAL AZABU:

Alternate market that also carrries import items, I go here about twice a month on average.

NISSIN:

Overall, usual shopping cycle in one month:
SEIYU – Daily items.
National Azabu – ~once a week for meats and restock.
Nissin – For certain items that NA didn’t have.
Costco – For more import stuff, especially ground beef.

Thanks for tuning in!
